The Muratec LS3015MC is a fiber laser combination machine that brings laser cutting and machining together in one compact platform. Designed for medium- to thick-plate fabrication, it eliminates part transfer between separate machines by completing laser cutting, drilling, tapping, countersinking, counterboring, reaming, and deburring in a single setup. This integrated approach helps fabricators reduce labor, improve part accuracy, and streamline production.
Unlike traditional fabrication workflows that require moving material between a laser and a machining center, the LS3015MC performs all processes within one shared coordinate system. That means better positional accuracy, less handling, and faster throughput from start to finish. Equipped with an 8 kW fiber laser, a rigid 4,500 rpm spindle, and a 20-tool automatic tool changer, the LS3015MC is built to process thicker materials efficiently while delivering a seamless transition between cutting and machining.
The LS3015MC supports laser cutting up to 25 mm and machining on material up to 16 mm, making it a strong solution for manufacturers looking to improve productivity on thicker plate applications without adding more floor space or more part handling.
